"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
Shane enjoys speaking to groups, and is available to present on a variety of topics.
THE NARROW GATE: CHRISTIAN HUSBANDS & FATHERS
(3 hours total)
It is easy to say that faith and family are our top priorities. But what does it really mean to truly live out those priorities/values as a Christian husband and father? How are you doing in those areas? What are some ways that you can be intentional about continuing to grow/improve within this aspect of your walk as a Christian man?
In this seminar, Shane will help men gain a deeper understanding/appreciation for mindsets, perspectives and practices that lead to the truly meaningful and fulfilling life that only a few find. This is the life that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 7:13-14.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
HAPPILY PLANNING YOUR EVER AFTER: FOR ENGAGED & NEWLYWED COUPLES
(3 hours total)
We fall in love and decide to get married. But will that initial euphoria of love carry us through to a happily ever after fairy tale romance? Sadly, no. If a livelong/successful marriage would be attainable merely by falling in love, then why are there so many marriages that end in separation or divorce?
The fact is, to sustain a loving/healthy relationship, both spouses in a marriage must find ways to keep connected to, grow with, and support their shared journey--together. An early step in this process is working together to clarify expectations, make plans, and establish goals. Does that sound too boring? Well, I can assure you that a loving marriage is anything but boring!!
This interactive seminar is designed to help engaged and newlywed couples get their marriage started on the right track. Shane will apply the proven processes associated with the discipline of life coaching to the focus of happily planning for (and living) your ever after.
"If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there." -Lewis Carroll
This fun/interactive seminar will facilitate thoughts/conversations that couples can utilize to help their ever-afters get off to a great start. There will be portions of the seminar where couples will have the opportunity to simply focus on each other, as well as some small group discussion times to share out with other couples that are in a similar stage of life.
