Meet Shane
Shane Hansen is a disciple of Jesus Christ, a husband, a father, and an entrepreneur. He is an International Coach Federation (ICF) trained life coach and graduate of the Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC) program through the Christian Coach Institute. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) and Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Shane has a heart for helping brothers & sisters in Christ in their earthly walk of life as they continue to grow and develop into the family, church, business, and community leaders that God is calling them to become. He states his mission as: "I help my brothers & sisters in Christ co-create their journey with the Lord, so that they can live intentional & impactful lives aligned with God's purpose and abiding in His peace."
It was while spending the first 10+ years of his career in the athletics administration/business field that Shane started feeling God calling him to serve in a different capacity. Through much prayer, reflection, and research Shane discerned that God had blessed him with the spiritual gifts, professional/life experiences, and personality that He did in order to prepare him to help others on their life journey while serving as a Christian Life Coach.
But hearing God tell you to change careers (and then actually following through on that call) can be difficult, and Shane kept thinking that he would follow someday. God had different plans. While Shane had been a believer in God his entire life, he didn't fully surrender and "let go & let God" completely take over all aspects of his life until his only sibling, his much beloved older sister Kayte, was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. Her diagnosis, and ultimate call home to heaven a year later at the age of 35, served as the final catalyst that God used to help Shane wake up to the reality that tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us. If there is something that needs to be done this side of heaven, the time to do it is RIGHT NOW. The experience of feeling God speaking so directly to him served as an incredibly life changing source of motivation and inspiration for Shane. That profound experience led Shane to fully dedicate the rest of his life to following and serving the Lord in every aspect.
Since launching Shane Hansen, Christian Life Coach, LLC in the fall of 2015 Shane has successfully helped hundreds of brothers & sisters in Christ "co-create" their journey with the Lord, written several books, presented at a wide range of speaking engagements, and has had his work featured in both online and print publications.

Shane is married to the love of his life, his best friend Sarah, and they are blessed with five wonderful children. The Hansen family loves to travel, spend time at the family cabin, and stay active on their hobby farm.
Shane's life verse as a husband and father is Joshua 24:15.
